Why Parqua

What Sets Our Approach Apart

Our programmes are built for the realities of Malaysian mid-sized organisations — not adapted from distant frameworks.

Practitioner-Authored Materials

All course content and templates are authored by practitioners who have worked inside actual continuity planning exercises, not compiled from generic frameworks alone.

Modular by Design

Each programme level is self-contained. Teams can start with the online course, attend a workshop later, and commission a programme build when the organisation is ready — without repeating ground.

Portable Outputs

Every engagement produces documentation your team owns and can use independently. The goal is to leave the organisation better equipped, not dependent on continued external support.

Malaysia-Contextualised

Scenario examples, regulatory context, and terminology reflect the Malaysian business environment rather than being translated from overseas syllabi.

Cross-Functional Framing

Materials are written to be accessible to operations, HR, and IT participants simultaneously — reducing friction in cross-department engagements.

Straightforward Scope

Pricing is transparent and the scope of each programme is clearly stated upfront. No ambiguous deliverables or scope changes midway through an engagement.

Next Step

Would a conversation be useful?

If you are weighing up which programme level fits your organisation, we are happy to talk it through. No obligation — just a straightforward exchange about where you are and what might help.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Who are these programmes designed for?

The online course and workshop are suited to operations managers, HR practitioners, IT leads, and any staff member involved in internal planning or documentation. The programme build is directed at organisations that want to establish or refresh a formal business continuity planning structure internally.

Do participants need prior knowledge of business continuity planning?

No prior knowledge is required for the online course or the two-day workshop. Both are structured to begin from foundational concepts. The programme build engagement assumes an organisation has some internal documentation already, but prior formal BCP work is not a prerequisite.

How long does the online course take to complete?

The course has seven modules of approximately 25 minutes each, so the core learning time is around three hours. Because it is self-paced, participants can spread it across several sessions according to their schedule.

What does the workshop produce at the end?

Participants leave with a portable internal reference handbook — a structured document their team can use directly — plus a written summary memo covering the key discussion outputs from day two. Both documents belong to the organisation.

What is included in the programme build engagement?

The twelve-week engagement covers scoping interviews, a review of existing internal documentation, design of structural patterns and supporting checklists, and production of facilitator and participant materials. The final output is a complete starter programme the organisation can run independently with its qualified advisors.

Are the prices quoted per person or per organisation?

The online course (RM 580) is priced per individual participant. The workshop (RM 2,950) and programme build (RM 4,500) are priced per engagement — covering the full group or organisation within the stated scope.

Can the workshop be held at our premises?

Yes. The two-day workshop can be delivered at your organisation's premises within the Klang Valley, or at a mutually agreed venue. Logistics details are confirmed as part of the pre-engagement process.
