Education Programmes in
Business Continuity Planning

Three structured programmes designed to help Malaysian organisations understand and document business continuity planning practice — from an individual foundation course to a full organisational programme build.

Our Approach

A Structured Path Through BCP Practice

Each programme is arranged around the same underlying framework — a clear structural model of how business continuity planning tends to be organised in practice. That consistency means knowledge transfers cleanly from one programme to the next.

Structural Clarity

Content reflects how BCP documentation is actually organised — not as abstract theory, but as a navigable set of categories and patterns that participants can apply within their own organisations.

Document-Centred Outputs

Every programme produces something portable — summary cards, a reference handbook, or a complete starter programme. Participants leave with materials they can refer back to and share with colleagues.

Malaysian Context

Scenarios, terminology, and examples are drawn from Malaysian operational environments. Workshops are based in Kuala Lumpur and tailored to the industry context of each participating group.

BCP-001

Business Continuity Foundations Online Course

A self-paced online course of seven modules introducing operations, HR, and IT staff to the structural shape of a typical business continuity planning practice. Common categories of operational resilience considerations, sensible internal documentation patterns, and a glossary of terminology. Each module is approximately 25 minutes.

  • Seven structured modules covering common BCP categories
  • Downloadable summary card for each module
  • Scenario reflections drawn from operational contexts
  • End-of-module self-checks to reinforce understanding
  • Self-paced — complete modules in any order

Business Continuity Workshop for Operations Teams

A two-day workshop for cross-functional operations teams who want a structured walk-through of business continuity planning practice. Day one covers principles and structural patterns. Day two is hands-on, with the team mapping an operational resilience scenario relevant to their industry context. Group size capped at sixteen.

  • Day one: principles, structural patterns, and category mapping
  • Day two: applied scenario work tailored to the team's industry
  • Portable internal reference handbook for ongoing use
  • Written summary memo documenting the team's mapping output
  • Group capped at sixteen for a workable discussion environment

"The handbook we came away with has become a standard reference for our operations coordinators. Having something the whole team contributed to made it easier to work with."

How We Approach Each Programme

Privacy and Data Handling

Participant information is handled in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We do not share participant details with third parties outside of delivery requirements.

Content Quality Review

Programme materials are reviewed against current BCP documentation practices before delivery. Scenario content is drawn from realistic Malaysian operational contexts rather than generic examples.

Participant Support

Questions about programme content are welcomed before and after delivery. For the online course, email support is available throughout the access period for clarification of module content.

Clear Engagement Terms

Scope, deliverables, and timelines are documented before any engagement begins. For the programme build, a written scope document is produced and agreed at the scoping stage.

Consistent Framework

All three programmes are built around the same structural model of BCP documentation, so knowledge transfers cleanly between them without re-learning terminology at each stage.

Malaysian Delivery Context

Face-to-face workshops are based in Kuala Lumpur. Industry context for scenarios is drawn from Malaysian manufacturing, services, logistics, and financial operations environments.
